At Kum Israel, we are committed to addressing each child's individual needs, whether it's celebrating a bar mitzvah or organizing a simple birthday party. It's important to us to make a lasting, positive impact on these children and show them that they are cared for.
Widows
We understand that widows often face significant challenges in their daily lives, struggling to overcome various obstacles. Our experience has shown us that these women frequently require not only financial support but also emotional assistance, a need which is often underestimated or goes unaddressed. While they may appear to be "fine" financially, the reality is that this social group greatly needs support. At Kum Israel, we are dedicated to helping widows by addressing their basic needs, such as covering groceries and bills, and ensuring their children are well taken care of. Through these efforts, we aim to provide emotional relief and support to these courageous individuals. We strive to make their lives a little easier and brighter during difficult times.
Elderly
The elderly face a myriad of challenges in their daily lives, ranging from financial to emotional struggles. At Kum Israel, we place great importance on spending quality time with the elderly, listening to their stories, empowering them, and offering hope. Many of these individuals have remarkable and fascinating backgrounds, often intertwined with the history of our country. It is our duty and privilege at Kum Israel to provide care and support for the elderly, ensuring that they receive the attention and assistance they deserve.
Homeless
While Kum Israel doesn't offer shelters for homeless individuals, we are actively engaged in reaching out to those in need by providing warm meals and essential supplies. Our efforts aim to offer immediate support and relief to homeless individuals, addressing their most basic needs and showing them that they are not forgotten. Through these consistent outreach initiatives, we strive to bring some comfort and sustenance to those who are currently without stable housing.
Soldiers (IDF)
We have been actively supporting soldiers by providing showers, clothing, and basic necessities such as soap and sleeping bags. In the wake of recent events facing our nation, the needs of our soldiers are vast and varied. Since October 7th, we have been visiting soldiers at temporary bases across the country on the frontlines multiple times a week establishing showers and delivering much-needed supplies.
Our support extends beyond practical aid; we also offer a sympathetic ear and engage in meaningful conversations with these brave individuals. Many soldiers find themselves in exceptional circumstances, and they have expressed deep appreciation for our presence on the battle ground. Through our care and support, we demonstrate to them that they are not alone, and we show that their stories hold profound significance for us.

Many newcomers (new Olin) face substantial difficulties upon reaching our shores, with entire families navigating a profound life transition. Most rely on social assistance as they work to establish a new life in their new surroundings. It is our heartfelt priority to extend a warm and supportive hand to these new immigrants, acknowledging the challenges they face and offering them the help they need to begin anew.

We provide support with the provision of tutors, and we also visit and offer companionship to families in need, particularly after traumatic experiences, providing both the parents and children with much-needed support and care.
