The Importance and Significance of supporting our Soldiers (IDF)

Since the outbreak of the recent war between Hamas and Israel on 7 October 2023, the threat and danger on the frontlines of Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria has reached a fever pitch not only for our soldiers but the entirety of Israel. As the reserve soldiers have reached more than 120% capacity and the winter is in full swing, the needs of the IDF has grown beyond what only the government can handle.

The war against Hamas and Hezbollah and the number of Israeli hostages is unlike anything Israel has ever experienced and the reality is, that our soldiers find themselves heroing various struggles on multiple levels. As the days and weeks go by, battle fatigue is mounting, and the strain on the army, their families and their capacity to function grows and grows, but their resolve is unwavering. We have seen the need first hand on every front line, but regardless of fatigue or lack of the basics, our soldiers are not weary, but strong and in the fight like never before. Going for weeks without a shower, being plucked from their everyday lives at a moments notice, and needing to provide for their families, our soldiers and the whole of Israel is like the Mighty Man of David, Shammah, who stood like a rock against the army of Philistenes (2 Samuel 23:12).

The IDF are exposed to extreme conditions from the standpoint of nutrition, climate, clothing, emotional stress and traumatic experiences caused by life-threatening situations and significant losses both on and off the battlefield. After more than 100 days of straight fighting another level of commitment and fatigue have set in. The enemy will be defeated.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are the tip of the spear as well as the last defense against the enemies of Israel and supporting them is not only an act of gratitude but also a way to ensure that they have the necessary resources and care to fulfill their duties effectively as the last defense against those that would kill every Israeli in order to conquer that which is rightfully and Biblically the land of Israel.

It is more important than ever before to stand by their side in practical and emotional terms to see the genocidal enemy destroyed and peace returned to the Land.
